📖 The core basis of the project was to:
</aside>
- Consider the state of poverty in Scotland as of 2019
- Understand the changes in Scottish poverty, and the impact that devolution has had upon this
- Assess the range of tools and powers available to the Scottish Government to address poverty, and how effectively they have been used
- Understand the future, and how Scotland can meet its targets and address factors threatening families and individuals with poverty

💡 This might be useful for:
</aside>
- Understanding the current state of poverty in Scotland, and its changes in recent years
- Understanding the powers of the Scottish Government to address poverty and the impact of devolution
- Understanding the next steps needed to meet targets and combat poverty

✅ The key findings were:
</aside>
- Scotland faces the same poverty trends and many of the same challenges in tackling poverty as the rest of the UK, but the set of powers they can use to address them are growing
- Devolved powers, and the different approaches they have enabled, have largely benefited low-income families in Scotland, relative to the rest of the UK
- There are many plans and policies in place to boot employment for people living in poverty but these will take some years to make a difference, and more must still be done
